Day 4

So it's day 4 post surgery but who's counting? I have come to the realization, with the help of my sane family and friends, that I can't take drugs. I now feel like an actual human being today sans hardcore pain drugs. Hooray!

Now that I've realized this, maybe I can be somewhat productive in my resting/being. Also showers are a wonderful thing and so are nice spring like days. Now only if I can boost up my attention span a little bit and finish some of the many knitting projects I have started that would be a plus.

Post Surgery Fogginess

So I decided about 3 mos. ago that I would start a blog. Well I started it but haven't posted since then so here goes. On tues. I had back surgery and now I'm waiting for this healing stuff to begin. I'm in a bit of a drugged out stupor but besides that I'm feeling alright.

I'm a bit amazed at how the body recovers so quickly. I'm actually walking better than I was prior to the surgery and this makes me happy. Since I haven't really left the house in a few days to get any blogging inspiration from others' stupidity, these posts in the upcoming weeks will probably contain what is keeping me sane: knitting, kitties, and chocolate.
